We looked at the great commission from Christ at the end of Matthew’s Gospel. We then discussed ways we can observe His commands by serving. Some of the ideas the teens had were:
1) teach class, whether it be Sunday school, Wednesday night. Bible Study or VBS (KC, IE, CL, HY, & MY).
2) help those in need through clothing drives, food/pantry assistance, or counseling (BD).
3) learn foreign language to assist in foreign mission work (MD).
4) preaching (JL).
5) host small group Bible studies, whether it be worldly friends or fellow Christians (SD).
6) lead singing (SM).
Overall I believe we had a good discussion on service. I also believe the teens have good thoughts & plans for the future.
